How to get
Through Route 5 to the north 114 kms towards Punta de Choro, taking in the sector of El Trapiche, the deviation towards the Coast. (2 hours of Travel). The CONAF office administers the reservation and in Punta de Choros you can obtain the visitor ticket that has a value of $ 2500 for adults and $ 1000 for children.
In the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve camping is not allowed. We recommend you take cash if you intend to stay in Punta de Choros, since there is little commerce that accepts payments with bank cards.
The Humboldt Penguin National Reserve is open to the public in low season (Apr-Nov): income Wednesday to Sunday and holidays: 09:00 to 16:30 hrs. High season (Dec-Mar): open every day.
